However, those who are new to this area and unfamiliar with real estate probably won’t know where to start, so here at Gluch Group, Phoenix’s premier real estate agency, we’ve done all the hard work for you and gathered all the best places to live in Phoenix. Read on below to find out the top neighborhoods in the city, along with a breakdown of what makes each one great for families and young professionals alike.

Arcadia

Arcadia is one of the most sought-after neighborhoods in Phoenix, especially for young professionals. It was built on land that used to be citrus groves, and as a result, you’ll find big, picturesque streets. Additionally, you’ll see oversized lots which are surrounded by beautiful landscaping, and the area offers stunning views of Camelback Mountain.

This area is known for its family-friendly atmosphere, where residents are able to enjoy both urban and rural living, providing a charming and quaint setting. It’s also a bike-friendly community that has a balance of indoor and outdoor living and hosts some of the state’s best K-12 schools found inside the Scottsdale Unified School District. The neighborhood of Arcadia is home to a mix of newcomers and locals and is broken up into three further areas: Proper, Lite, and Lower.

Arcadia Proper contains the largest, upscale homes and is the wealthiest part of Arcadia, while Arcadia Lite is the go-to area for younger families and millennials and is one of the best places to live in Phoenix for young professionals. Lower Arcadia contains one of the oldest areas in Phoenix and is a charming neighborhood full of one-story single-family homes. There are plenty of shops, parks, and restaurants here for all to enjoy.
